This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refund, cancellation, transfer, rescheduling, no-show, and partial attendance requests are handled for the Leadership Excellence Program operated by MAAHAD TAHALEF AL-KHALIJ LTD. (Alliance). It applies alongside our Terms & Conditions.
By completing payment for the Leadership Excellence Program, you confirm that you have read and accepted this policy.
1. Program Fee & Transaction Currency
The program fee is SAR 4,500 excluding VAT.
VAT is calculated at 15%: SAR 675.
Total including VAT: SAR 5,175.
All payments are processed and denominated in Saudi Riyals (SAR).
Payment may be completed through available payment methods, including card payment, local payment methods, or installment options, subject to payment provider availability and approval.
2. Refund and Cancellation Requests
Refund and cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to info@leadershipexcellenceprogram.com.

The request should include:
- Participant full name
- Email address used for registration
- Payment reference, if available
- Selected payment method, if known
- Reason for the refund or cancellation request
- Supporting documents, if the request is related to force majeure or exceptional circumstances
Requests will be reviewed by the program team and handled according to this policy and any applicable payment provider requirements.
3. Refund Eligibility
3.1 Cancellation within seven calendar days of purchase
A participant who completes enrollment online may request cancellation within seven calendar days from the date of purchase, provided that the participant has not attended, accessed, used or otherwise benefited from any part of the programme services.
Approved refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable Saudi law. The participant may be responsible for actual costs arising from the cancellation where permitted by law and properly disclosed before purchase.
3.2 Cancellation after seven calendar days from purchase
Payments are non-refundable once seven calendar days have passed from the date of purchase, regardless of the time remaining before the programme start date.
A request to move to a different cohort must be submitted in writing at least 20 calendar days before the confirmed cohort start date. A cohort change is not automatic: it is subject to availability and is confirmed only when Alliance provides written approval. Requests received fewer than 20 calendar days before the confirmed cohort start date cannot be accommodated.
Where the cohort-change window has passed, the participant may instead nominate another eligible participant to take the secured seat, as set out in Section 10. Payments remain non-refundable in either case, and nothing in this section limits any mandatory rights available under applicable Saudi law.
3.3 After programme services have started
Payments are non-refundable once the participant has attended, accessed, used or benefited from any part of the programme services.
3.4 Cancellation or material change by Alliance
If Alliance cancels the programme, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another available cohort.
If Alliance materially changes the confirmed programme date and the participant cannot attend the revised date, the participant may request a refund or transfer, subject to applicable law.
3.5 Applicable law and exceptional circumstances
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory rights available under applicable Saudi law. Documented force majeure, medical emergencies or other exceptional circumstances may be reviewed individually but do not automatically guarantee a refund, credit or transfer.
4. Partial Attendance
If a participant attends any part of the program and then does not continue or complete the remaining program days, the payment will be considered non-refundable. Partial attendance does not entitle the participant to a partial refund, credit, or discount, unless otherwise approved in writing by the organizer due to documented force majeure or exceptional circumstances. Issuance of the Certificate of Completion, the award of Foundation Chartered Manager (fCMgr) status, and any related benefits may be affected if the participant does not complete the required program components.
5. No-Show Policy
If a participant does not attend the program without prior written notice and approval from the program team, the payment will be considered non-refundable.
6. Installment Payments
If the participant selects an installment payment option, the installment provider’s own terms and conditions may apply. Refunds, reversals, cancellations, payment disputes, installment schedules, or outstanding payments related to installment plans may also be subject to the installment provider’s approval, timeline, and fees.
The program team cannot guarantee refund approval, reversal timelines, or installment cancellation outcomes controlled by third-party payment providers.
7. Payment Provider Fees
Some payment provider fees, bank charges, installment provider fees, transaction fees, or processing fees may be non-refundable. If a refund is approved, the refunded amount may exclude any non-refundable charges imposed by banks, payment gateways, installment providers, or other third-party payment processors.
8. Program Cancellation by the Organizer
If the Leadership Excellence Program is cancelled by the organizer, confirmed participants will be offered one of the following options:
- A refund of the program fee paid, excluding any non-refundable charges imposed by payment providers, banks, or installment providers where applicable; or
- Transfer of the paid amount to a future cohort or equivalent program opportunity, subject to availability.
9. Program Rescheduling
If the program is rescheduled, confirmed participants will be notified through the contact information provided during registration or payment. Participants may be offered the option to:
- Attend the rescheduled program; or
- Request transfer to a future cohort, subject to availability.
Refund requests related to rescheduling will be reviewed in accordance with this Refund & Cancellation Policy and any applicable payment provider requirements.
10. Cohort Changes and Participant Substitutions
Moving to a different cohort. A request to attend a different cohort must be submitted in writing at least 20 calendar days before the confirmed cohort start date. The request is subject to availability and is confirmed only when Alliance provides written approval.
Nominating a replacement participant. A confirmed seat may be transferred to another eligible participant. The request must be submitted in writing before the program begins, requires the complete and updated registration details of the replacement participant, and is confirmed only when Alliance provides written approval.
Requests made fewer than 20 calendar days before the confirmed cohort start date cannot be moved to another cohort. An approved substitution of an eligible replacement participant remains possible at any time before the program begins.
Once a seat is confirmed, Alliance makes advance commitments for the venue, facilitator, materials, operations and other delivery costs, and the seat is removed from availability for other prospective participants. Close to delivery these commitments cannot usually be reversed, and a vacated seat may no longer be possible to refill. The 20-day notice requirement gives the program team a reasonable opportunity to manage cohort capacity fairly.
Documented force majeure, medical emergencies or other exceptional circumstances may be reviewed individually as described in Section 3.5, and nothing in this section limits any mandatory rights available under applicable Saudi law.
11. Refund Processing Timeline
Approved refunds will be initiated within 30 business days from written approval by the program team, subject to the timelines and requirements of the relevant bank, card issuer, payment gateway, installment provider, or selected payment method.
Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method where possible.
Final receipt of funds may vary depending on the bank, card issuer, payment gateway, installment provider, or selected payment method.
12. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If a participant initiates a chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal request through a bank or payment provider, the request will be handled according to the relevant bank or payment provider process.
Participants are encouraged to contact the program team first so the issue can be reviewed and addressed where possible.
13. Policy Updates
MAAHAD TAHALEF AL-KHALIJ LTD. (Alliance) may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Any updates will be published on this page with the revised “Last updated” date. This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
